A locally owned boutique in Marietta sought to refresh their retail space to better reflect their brand identity and attract a broader customer base. The existing store suffered from poor layout, inadequate lighting, and a dated aesthetic that no longer resonated with their target audience. Vista Building was engaged to redesign the space from floor to ceiling. Our team developed a comprehensive plan that improved traffic flow, created distinct product zones, and introduced modern finishes throughout. The new floor plan prioritizes intuitive navigation and visual appeal. An open central pathway guides customers through the space, while strategically placed fixtures create distinct zones for apparel, accessories, and home goods. Sight lines were carefully considered to encourage exploration without overwhelming the senses. The checkout area was repositioned near the entrance for convenience without disrupting the shopping flow. Flexible display systems allow the owner to easily reconfigure product presentations for seasonal changes or special promotions. Lighting plays a crucial role in retail success, and this project made it a top priority. Layered lighting combines ambient fixtures for overall illumination with track lighting to highlight key product displays.
